5th & Wine Closes Doors for Good after LGBT Discrimination


5th & Wine, located in Old Town Scottsdale, has closed for good almost two months after a federal lawsuit was filed against the restaurant. 

The well-known restaurant has been open for seven years but is facing a lawsuit suggesting management and staffers were discriminating against the LGBT community. Employers had allegedly harassed two workers in 2012 to 2013. Harassment reported included name-calling, comments,
innuendos, and touching. The case was filed on Jan 23rd. On their site, all is says is “Thanks for your patronage over the last 7 years! Unfortunately, we have now closed our doors.”
