Free Parks for Fourth Graders

Fourth graders can explore the National Parks for free this summer.

All fourth graders in the United States can get a free pass to every National Park for free this summer. The Every Kid in a Park
initiative started during President Barack Obama’s presidency to protect the parks, and make sure every American has a chance to visit the National Parks. The initiative chose 9 to 11 year-olds because of the unique developmental age when children are more open to new ideas and more likely to have a positive attitude toward nature and the environment. Log onto Every Kid in a Park’s website and follow the prompt to download your pass.
