PHOENIX – You’d think Phoenix Rising are magicians the way they keep pulling out all these wins. Rising battled it out to the VERY end and came out victorious over Tacoma Defiance 4-2 Tuesday night.

This win earned Phoenix Rising the title of the longest winning streak in American soccer history (16) which was held by MLS LA Galaxy.

Just when you thought the game was over and the streak was coming to an end, Phoenix Rising pulled a rabbit out of the hat and scored 3 goals in 3 minutes.

The team was down 2-1 in the 81st minute, but that didn’t stop them.
Here’s how it all played out:

Phoenix Rising is on the road again this Saturday and you can catch all of the action as Rising looks for their 17th consecutive win on Your Phoenix CW channels 6 and 61.1 over the air.
