LAS VEGAS – Las Vegas’ iconic wedding venue is now up for sell.
The 84-year-old owner of the Little White Chapel is looking to retire and is looking for someone to take over.
Charlotte Richards purchased the property decades ago after borrowing a $50,000 loan from her friend. It started as just one room and Richards transformed it into Vegas’ first drive-through wedding venue.
Due to its success, the once $50,000 property is now listed for $12 million.
There are a total of five chapels inside the facility with a drive-thru chapel called “The Tunnel of Love.” The chapel is also equipped with rental wedding dresses, a gazebo, and a flower shop.
Since it first started operating back in 1951, ministers have officiated thousands of marriages.
The chapel has also been featured on popular shows like The Bachelorette and Good Morning America.
Some of the most notable celebrities to get married there include Michael Jordan and Britney Spears.
