2018 brought us the Netflix romantic comedy To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. 2019 is bringing us P.S. I Still Love You, the sequel to TATBILB.

Jordan Fisher announced on social media that he will be playing John Ambrose (originally played by Jordan Burtchett for like two seconds).

John Ambrose also received one of Lara Jean Covey’s infamous love letters so there will definitely be a love triangle there, Peter Kavinsky included.

Fisher, known from Rent Live and Dancing With the Stars, seems to be the perfect fit to play the role according to Lana Condor (Lara Jean).

“If you can’t already tell, Fisher is a very sweet, charismatic person,” Condor told Cosmo.

“We couldn’t be more excited to have Jordan Fisher join the To All the Boys family as John Ambrose McClaren,” the film’s producer, Matt Kaplan told Entertainment Weekly.  “Jordan’s charisma practically leaps off the screen with anything he does, whether it’s acting, singing, or dancing. There isn’t a more perfect guy who could believably shake things up in Lara Jean and Peter’s world.”

It also seems fans of the film are excited to see Fisher play John Ambrose.

Others not so much…

P.S. I Still Love You is set to premiere in 2020.
