Phoenix International Raceway is about to get a multi-million dollar renovation that’ll have racers and race fans in awe.
Racing fans in Arizona are about to have huge bragging rights in racing. Phoenix Raceway and International Speedway Corporation announced the race track will be receiving a $178 million modernization. A new pedestrian tunnel, new seating areas featuring Wi-Fi, and a Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Garage Fan Zone are just some of the additions coming to the track. However, the most exciting change involves the track itself. Phoenix Raceway’s start/finish line will be repositioned to just before the track’s well-known Turn 2 dog leg, with seating being added to the turn as well. The change will be an exciting twist for drivers, while fans will get a front row seat to the action.
