PHOENIX – On September 12, Mattel which is the company that owns Barbie, will be releasing a Día de los Muertos Barbie.
The Catrina Día de los Muertos Barbie comes dressed in traditional Mexican garb with her face beautifully decorated in sugar-skull makeup.
“Barbie’s dress is exquisitely detailed. She loves a mermaid silhouette, with traditional Mexican ruffled sleeves and floral embroidery. Her two-layered skirt is decorated with sugar skulls, flowers, and dimensional butterflies sewn into the lace. Barbie also caught a butterfly on her hand!”
The doll costs $75 and will only be available at Walmart.
