There are just some things in life that are so obvious we shouldn’t have to announce them. Things like water replenishes our bodies, the Earth is round, and Black Panther will have a sequel. It’s common sense, people!
Based on the massive success and response to Marvel’s newest movie, it should come as no surprise that our favorite King of Wakanda will be returning to the big screen to carry out a sequel to the 2018 blockbuster.
Over the weekend, the President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, revealed to fans that the Black Panther storyline would continue in a sequel. Feige refrained from discussing any specific details about the project, just promising that a sequel will be coming out.
“One of the favorite pastimes at Marvel Studios is sitting around on a Part One and talking and dreaming about what we would do in a Part Two,” Feige said. “There have been plenty of those conversations as we were putting together the first Black Panther. We have ideas and a pretty solid direction on where we want to head with the second one.”
Shuri and Dora Miaje fans can also keep their radars on, since Feige also mentioned the possibility of spin-off projects for the two popular Black Panther characters.
So, there you have it people, fire is definitely hot and Black Panther is definitely getting a sequel.
