A new trend of texting the person who shares the first six digits as your phone number is on the rise, and it’s causing an uproar of different responses.
Here’s how it works: change the last digit up or down one number on your own seven digit number and send a friendly text to your “number neighbor”. The neighbor might either reply, ignore your text or respond in a way you won’t expect.
