PHOENIX – Fire Festival’s private island in the Bahamas is now on sale for a not-so-fire price.
For just $11.8 million U.S. dollars, you too can run on the white sand beach in slow motion much like the bikini-boasting models Bella Hadid, Hailey Bieber and Emily Ratajkowski did in the festival’s glamorous promo video.
Saddle Back Cay, the temporary home for thousands of influencers, models and wealthy bored people, is up for sale and even includes several cottages and a main house.
The scenic private island was proclaimed “once owned by Pablo Escobar” according to the fest’s promotional video and includes 7 beaches on the property.
What’s so special about this place? If you’ve been on the internet since 2017, you’ve probably seen the festival’s impressive marketing, the festival-goers social media outrage or the 2019 documentaries that show how Fyre Festival became “the world’s biggest festival flop”.
The music festival was to be considered a more luxurious and immersive Coachella experience. It was advertised to include parties, gourmet food, luxury camping domes and live performances by popular artists.
Fyre Festival Organizer Billy McFarland didn’t provide the things he presented to his ticket buyers and was later sentenced to six years of prison for fraud.
A small note to this person who ends up buying this legendary island: don’t host a music festival here.
