Downtown Phoenix will finally have a full-service grocery store by 2019 as part of a high-rise development.
Downtown Phoenix is growing, but one thing that remains lacking is a full-service grocery store. That’s about to change in the near future. Community leaders met in downtown Phoenix today for the groundbreaking of Fry’s, which will be part of a new high-rise development set to open by early 2019. The high-rise will also include 200,000 sq. ft. of office space, and 330 apartments stacked on top of that. RED Development is behind the project and also aim to keep parking easily accessible for customers, even during downtown events.
