Facebook suffered its worst outage in history on Wednesday.
Users not only reported problems with logging in and posting, but also on Facebook-owned apps like Messenger and Instagram.
The Facebook outage went on for more than 14 hours while Instagram announced it was back up and running six hours after the problems started.
Both apps took to rival app, Twitter, to communicate with their users during the outage.
We’re focused on working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, but can confirm that the issue is not related to a DDoS attack.— Facebook (@facebook) March 13, 2019
It didn’t take long at all for Twitter users to make jokes about the issues.
Instagram being broken feels like when Nickelodeon would stop playing cartoons to make us go outside n play— Brother Nature (@BrotherNature) March 14, 2019
god I’m so happy Instagram is still not working, I hope it stays down, finally the hot people will have to come here and learn to be funny to get attention like the rest of us— Marie Le Conte (@youngvulgarian) March 13, 2019
