Cotton Candy Grapes Are Now Available

Grocery stores are now stocking a sweet treat in the produce section. Cotton candy grapes are making a return and they aren’t like any grape you’ve tasted before.

The seedless green grapes are juicy and taste exactly like cotton candy.

The grapes are unique because they don’t contain pure sugar, so you can eat as many as your heart desires.

However, these grapes do contain 12 percent more sugar than your average grape, but definitely not as much traditional cotton candy.

Sounds too good to be true right? These grapes are real, and they are pretty sweet. The grapes are produced in California by Grapery, where they breed two different grape species together.

The grapes usually don’t appear until summer or later in the year, but the cotton candy grapes have been spotted in stores like Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, and various other stores.

Cotton candy grapes are only available for a limited time only with prices starting at about $4.49 lb.

This is a once a year opportunity and the grapes are selling quick. So if you are having trouble finding them, check your local Costco, Sam’s Club, Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s stores, because they have stocked these sweet grapes in the past.
