THE DOWNLOAD?
Residents of Cornville in Northern Arizona found the orphaned cub without its mother. Arizona Game and Fish Department waited two weeks before relocating the animal to be sure whether or not the cub’s mother would return. The little lion was emaciated, dehydrated and lethargic. Now, she’s on her way to a full recovery at an Arizona Dame and Fish Department rehabilitation center. Although, without her mother, the cub will not learn critical survival skills. The lion will remain at the center in Tucson until a wildlife sanctuary, wildlife park or zoo can take her in.

WAIT … THERE’S MORE
If you ever find abandoned wildlife, do not touch the animals. Their parents are often nearby on the hunt for food and will return shortly. You can help rescued wildlife by donating to the Arizona Game and Fish Department
