It’s that time of year again when math doesn’t seem so bad.
Why? Because it’s National Pi Day!
The mathematical symbol equates to 3.14 which is why the coincidental day of celebration lands on 3/14.
In efforts to celebrate this day in a tastier way, restaurants all over are joining in on the fun by offering tons of special deals.
If you’re wondering where you can find these deals locally, here’s the rundown on where to go.
The valley’s hometown grocery store chain Bashas has decided to cut their 8-inch pies in half and sell them for $3.14. Pie flavors offered include apple, blueberry, pumpkin, cherry, and peach. Bashas’ supermarket will offer their half-pies from March 13-19.
Giordano’s is celebrating the day too! They are offering deals on large pizzas for $3.14 at their Paradise Valley and Peoria locations.
Kneaders bakery will offer slices of pie for $1.50
Blaze Pizza will sell their pizzas for $3.14.
Spinelli’s east coast style pizzeria will offer pizzas for $3.14 at their Tempe location.
Other grocery stores like Whole Foods will be offering deals as well.
