PHOENIX — The trailer for Judy Garland’s biopic just dropped and focuses on the actress and singer’s final years before her death in 1969.

JUDY, directed by Rupert Goold, is an adaption of the Broadway play End of the Rainbow by Peter Quilter.

The clip shows the emotional journey Garland faces as she prepares for her final sold-out concerts in London during the winter of 1968.

Throughout the trailer, viewers get an in-depth look at Garland’s relationship with her children as well as her last husband, played by Finn Wittrock (American Horror Story).

The film will include musical renditions from “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and “The Trolley Song.”

In the full trailer, Zellweger gives a modern and heart-breaking performance of the late icon, showcasing her relationship with her health in her final years. The film is set to release October 4.
