Lady Gaga’s Oscars Necklace Was Last Worn by Audrey Hepburn

Lady Gaga at the 2018 Academy Awards

Known for shutting down the red carpet, Lady Gaga’s latest Oscar debut was nothing short of expectations.

Gaga wore an all black gown with gloves designed by Alexander McQueen and paired the outfit with the ultimate dazzing accessory.

Making her way down the red carpet, cameras seemed to zero in on the beautiful necklace crested upon Gaga’s neck.

All eyes were on Gaga as she displayed some of the world’s most valuable diamonds.

The prized Tiffany & Co. necklace is 128.54-carat cut diamond, estimated to be worth over $30 million.

The rare necklace has only been worn a total of three times. The first was back in 1957 by Mrs. Sheldon White House at the Tiffany Ball in Newport, Rhode Island.

The necklace was last worn by Hollywood legend, Audrey Hepburn. She was seen wearing the necklace in 1962 on the cover of her Breakfast at Tiffany’s poster display.

Gaga marks the first to ever wear the necklace on the red carpet.

Some Twitter users compared the necklace to one worn by Kate Hudson in the movie, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.

Jewelry seems to be the star’s latest obession for this year’s award season. Just recently at the Golden Globes, Gaga made headlines for wearing another dazzling Tiffany & Co. diamond necklace.

I think it’s safe to say diamonds are Lady Gaga’s best friend.
