PHOENIX – Katy Perry recently revealed how she prevents aging and it is way too much information.

While talking to radio host Smallzy on station 1069 in Australia, the singer shared her newest health kick regime.

“I’m kinda into those types of things like health and healing places and just self-benefit places. As you get older and have longer hangovers and you realize oh the cells in my body are dying. I did this thing called panchakarma. It stems from India and they do lots of enemas.”

So no, this is not a new skincare routine you can pick up at your nearest pharmacy.

Enema: Liquid injected into the rectum. An enema may be used for therapeutic (such as to stimulate evacuation of the bowels or heal inflammation of colon called colitis ) or diagnostic (such as imaging studies of the gastrointestinal tract – barium enema) purposes.

Whether or not enemas are effective is highly debated. Perry and her fiance, Orlando Bloom, have reportedly been trying out different ways to stay healthy.

“Orlando is all about that new-age way of living. Today we are on a bit of a health kick because we ate so many croissants when we were on vacation. Today I am eating fruit and apple cider vinegar and I may have a vegan meal later. “

Then she proceeded to get real with everyone and share her real dinner plans for tomorrow: An In N Out burger.

The singer does look pretty amazing every time she is out in public so she might be onto something. However, my secret to prolonging life is a lot simpler than Perry’s: Drink water. And definitely, use a lot of lotion. What are your secrets to anti-aging?
