PHOENIX – As our wise Yoda would say, “Giving back Kanye West is. Hmmmm”.

In an interview with Forbes for their August issue, Kanye West reveals his plans to make homeless shelters with a housing theme based on Luke Skywalker’s childhood home in Star Wars VI: A New Hope.

If you’re going to make a series of buildings with the intent of housing low-income families, why not base it off of something you love? West has been a Star Wars fan for some time and even includes references to the space franchise in his song lyrics.

“But if they ever flip sides like Anakin
You’ll sell everything including the mannequin”

The rapper took Forbes to the location of his shelters and the outlet reported the prototypes of the housing unit mirrored “skeletons of wooden spaceships” and appeared “oblong and dozens of feet tall”. It is not clear how far along the project is.

It is reported the houses will look like a young Luke Skywalker could be living in them. The Jedi’s house is on Tatooine, a desert planet mostly baren where he lived with his aunt and uncle on their farm.

Kim Kardashian West, wife of West and mother to their four kids, has also been busy with her own efforts. Kardashian has been working to fight for prison reform and the pair have given back to organizations such as the Wildfire Relief Fund after the wildfires in California in 2018.
