Making quite the entrance, Billy Porter’s latest red carpet look had everyone turning their heads.
Porter arrived to the 2019 Academy Awards in a black velvet Christian Siriano dress paired with a tuxedo topper.
Known for his leading role on the FX series show, Pose, Porter has been known to promote size and gender inclusivity.
Aiming to break barriers, Porter used the Oscars red carpet as a platform to promote gender fluidity in fashion.
Porter look was Inspired by ballroom icon, Hector Xtravaganza, the creator of the House of Xtravaganza.
This was not the first time that the star has made similar fashion pairings on the red carpet. Just a month ago, Porter appeared to make another fashion statement at the American Film Institute luncheon.
