5 Arizona-Inspired Cocktails For National Cocktail Day

Tequila Sunrise Cocktail

National Cocktail Day is Saturday, March 24 so to get in the spirit (see what we did there) we’ve compiled a list of some cocktails inspired by Arizona.

1. Arizona Mule Cocktail
The brightly-colored cocktail is a perfect spring drink. The vodka may be infused with jalapeno, but it’s still a sweet drink and only has four ingredients! It takes very little time to make.

2. Side Haboob
New Orlean’s has its Hurricanes and Arizona has its Haboobs. . .Side Haboobs, that is. Cowboy Ciao featured it on their menu in 2013 and even though it’s no longer on there, you can still make it for your own cocktail celebration.

3. The Phoenix Cocktail
Inspired by heart of Arizona, this light-colored cocktail has a kick of spice to it.

4. Tequila Sunrise
Born at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel, the Tequila Sunrise is a grown-up alternative to orange juice.

5. Arizona Sunset
One of the many beautiful things about Arizona is its sunsets so it’s only right to name a drink after such. This cocktail is actually a mock-tail so the whole family can enjoy it.
