Rue 21 Focusing More on Online Sales

Teen clothing retailer Rue 21 is closing one-third of its stores nationwide as it turns to focus on online business.

The Pittsburgh-based company is closing nearly 400 stores, including five in Arizona. The closing Arizona stores include one at Mesa Riverview, Lake Pleasant Town Center, Queen Creek Marketplace, Outlets at Anthem, and The Promenade at Casa Grande. Seven locations in the Phoenix area and more than 700 stores throughout the U.S. will still remain open.  No closing dates have been released, but its website is promoting the closing sales.
