UA Making School Pricier for New Wildcats

New Students will Face Increased Tuition and More Fees

The University of Arizona is increasing tuition for new students.

The Arizona Board of Regents approved a tuition increase for the University of Arizona on Thursday. Tuition for incoming undergraduate students will increase by one percent. This doesn’t include other fees that are not included in tuition, like a $425 recreation fee, $150 student services fee, and a $535 information and library fee. Don’t feel too sad! Just think, while you’re eating your microwave noodles because you can’t afford real food, you contributed $100 to an athletic facility you will most likely never use. That’s what I call school spirit!
