Millennials are Investing in Tech Companies


Millennials like to invest in tech-savvy apps.

Robinhood, an app that allows users to trade stocks without paying fees, wanted to know if younger people trade different stocks compared to people over 30. Overall, the top stocks millennials held are similar to what people over 30 had, but they are almost twice as likely to have stock from computer chip designer AMD and Nvidia. They found that millennials also trade more often than non-millennials but the average dollar amount per trade is half.
