The Young Mind Behind GrandPaws Pantry

Valley Girl Founds Nonprofit for Pets

Meet the Valley girl making a difference for homeless pets.

Young animal advocate, Sonya Collatur, started a 501(c)(3) nonprofit called GrandPaws Pantry about a year and half ago.  Her passion for animals grew when she adopted two dogs and from Valley shelters. At that point, she felt the need to do more for Valley pets and shelters. With the help of a Board of Directors, fundraising and donors, her nonprofit has been a success. Not only does she work to find homeless pets forever homes, she also makes it a priority to donate supplies to local shelters, rescue organizations and animal-assisted facilities.
