The Arizona Diamondbacks face off against the Colorado Rockies in the National League Wild Card Game tonight at 5:00 PM at Chase Field. It is the first playoff game for the DBacks since 2011. Take a look below for six things you should know about tonight’s game:

1. It’s Do or Die

The Wild Card game, which started a year after the last time the DBacks made the playoffs in 2012, is a one-game playoff between the two best teams that didn't win a division. The winner of tonight’s game will play the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Division Series. The loser of this game has their season come to an end.

2. It’s Sold Out

If you’re thinking of going to this game, the DBacks are not selling any more tickets. The game sold out in under two hours when tickets went on sale last week. However, tickets are available on resale sites including Stubhub. The first 45,000 fans will receive rally towels.

3. It’s Going to Cause Traffic

Since the game starts at 5:00 PM (Major League Baseball set the time), it is going to coincide with rush hour traffic, especially on the I-10 since Chase Field is about a half mile from the seventh street exit. Fans who don’t want to be stuck in traffic should consider using the light rail. If you plan to attend the game, the DBacks are encouraging fans to get there as early as you can. Beginning at 3:00 PM, there will be a street festival along 4th street and Jackson including live music, a beer garden, and more. Stadium gates also open at 3:00 PM.

4. Kurt Warner’s Throwing Out the First Pitch

The former Cardinals quarterback and Hall of Famer will throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the game. Trumpeter Jesse McGuire will perform the National Anthem while a giant American flag will be held by uniformed military members and first responders. Pregame ceremonies will begin at 4:30 PM.

5. The Ace is On the Hill

Zack Greinke will be the starting pitcher for the Dbacks. The former Cy Young Award winner won 17 games this season is his second year with the team.

6. How to Tune In

Tonight’s game will air on TBS and on the radio on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM. Fans can also watch online on tbs.com/watchtbs.
