Olympic Skier Goes Wrong Way, Costing Her Silver Medal

Better Luck Next Time?

You think your Monday is off to a rough start? Just look at Teresa Stadlober’s Olympic race yesterday.

It will make spilling your coffee all of your blouse this morning look minuscule in comparison.

Austrian cross-country skier, Teresa Stadlober, accidently went the wrong way during the race and cost herself a silver medal.

With only seven kilometers to go, the skier went to the right, while the rest of the racers turned to the left.

Stadlober stated, “I don’t know why I took the wrong way.”

Trust us, Teresa, we’ve all been there.

Stadlober ended up placing ninth overall.

It was the most unfortunate time to have a brain freeze, but at least her dad still loves her.

He was at the finish line and just said, “It was not your day today."

While Stadlober may not have won a medal, she will go down in Olympic history.
