The local nonprofit Crowns of Courage has donated over 40 wigs to young cancer patients in need since their founding last year. It takes two to three donations to make just one wig. Thankfully, nearly 30 people gathered at Phoenix Children's Hospital's Locks for Gold event to donate over nine inches of hair each. PCH patients got to chop off hair from volunteers willing to donate while professional stylists were on standby to complete volunteers' new do's.
