Jun Kaneko Brings Color To The Desert

New Exhibit Opens at the Desert Botanical Garden

PHOENIX -

WHAT THE?
Jun Kaneko exhibit opens at Desert Botanical Garden featuring 20 massive colorful sculptures.

THE DOWNLOAD
Japanese American artist Jun Kaneko crafted the figures by hand. Find the ceramic and bronze sculptures scattered along the Garden's trails. Some of the pieces reach nearly 11 feet high. Kaneko's bold technique stands out against the landscape at the Garden but don't require much contemplation. Visitors are even invited to touch or hug some of the figures. You can do so now through May 13.

WAIT... THERE'S MORE
There's no extra charge to see the exhibit. General admission is $24.95 for adults and $12.95 for children (3-17 years old). Garden members and children under two years are admitted free.
