Go 'Glamping' at Schnepf Farms

Vintage Trailers Take You Back in Time

PHOENIX -

Allow us to introduce you to your new getaway, a playground of sleek silver trailers make up a pseudo-motel at Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek.

Fittingly named the “The Cozy Peach," since Schnepf Farms is the largest producer of peaches in Arizona, every one of the eight vintage Airstream trailers has been revitalized for this “glamping" experience.

Not camping, but “glamping."

"I have always loved Airstreams," says Carrie Schnepf of Schnepf Farms. "It’s a step, or a big jump and a leap, above camping."

A lot of the trailers needed to be completely gutted, and it was a challenge to keep the vintage look with new materials.

"When I first looked at it I was like no problem," said lead contractor Mike Owens. "When I started getting into it I thought, 'What did I get myself into?'"

"You have to try and keep the original parts because that’s what makes it cool," said Schnepf.

The results are incredible, and every Airstream comes with air conditioning, flat screen televisions, carpet, microwaves, plush bedding, and beautiful kitchens.

The Cozy Peach officially opens on March 14, with rates starting at $129 per night.
