A 10-year-old boy donated thousands of comics book to a military base.

Ten-year-old Carl Scheckel created a campaign to donate comic books to a military base in New Jersey according to MSN. Carl started with 300 of his own comics and raised most of the roughly 3,000 comics from donations at comic books shows. He donated the books to the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey. As a thank you, Carl received a VIP tour of the base by high-ranking officials.
