Amazon plans to nearly double it’s full-time, full-benefit U.S. workforce by 2018.
If you're hunting for a job, you may want to consider apply to work for Amazon. The company announced a plan to grow their workforce from 180,000 in 2016 to over 280,000 in the next 18 months. The more than 100,000 new full-time jobs will include full time benefits for employees. According to a press release from Amazon, the new positions are varied in skill set, level of education and previous work experience. As a part of their growth plan, the company has pledged to hire an additional 25,000 veterans and military spouses over the next five years. So, is Amazon hiring in Arizona? According to Amazon Founder and CEO Jeff Bezos, the new job postings will be around the country including at fulfillment centers like those here in the Valley.
