Are We Really Alone? 2017 Marks 20th Anniversary of Phoenix Lights

Harkins Shea 14 to host Phoenix Lights Documentary screening event

If you can believe it, one of the most talked about UFO sightings in history took place right here in Phoenix, Ariz.

It remains unexplained, but on March 13, 1997 multiple witnesses saw what they believe is a UFO in the Phoenix sky. It's best known as Phoenix Lights and people continue to talk about it to this day. One of those witnesses, Lynn D. Kitei, M.D. pushed aside her medical career and make it her life's work to tell others about what she saw. She wrote a book and even produced and directed a documentary that took 13 years to come full circle. The Phoenix Lights Documentary went on to win multiple awards at film festivals across the nation.

Each year, Scottsdale Harkins Shea 14 Cinemas screens the Phoenix Lights Documentary on its anniversary. Since this year marks the 20th year of the sightings, this year will feature guests speakers, a Q&A and book signing. The screening will be Sunday, March 12, 2017.  Tickets are $10.
